Tide

The tide is the unconscious in its lunar rhythm. Jungian analysis reads tide-dreams as the psyche reporting on cycles the dreamer has been either honoring or ignoring. A rising tide that reaches belongings left on the beach is classically the dream of what you have not yet gathered in. Notice whether you watch the tide, are caught by it, or time your crossing with it.
