Lake
A held reflection; contained depth.
CelticArthurianJungian
The lake is the unconscious held in a shape. Celtic and Arthurian tradition place the Lady of the Lake at a lake’s center — wisdom received at a still surface. Jungian analysis reads lake-dreams as reflective depth: what the dreamer’s inner life looks like when held in view. A lake’s stillness invites the dreamer’s own. A disturbed lake, by contrast, often marks emotion rising from below. Notice whether you see what is beneath the surface.
