Spring

The spring is the source, water arriving without being drawn. Celtic tradition is full of holy springs, each with a guardian and a healing specialty. Jungian analysis reads spring-dreams as the psyche reporting access to a source of vitality the dreamer has not had to earn. Drinking from a dream-spring is classically a blessing; finding one after long thirst, a gift.
