Nightmares

Why do we have nightmares?

Nightmares are very intense dreams that are usually vivd and memorable. Why do we have them? Sure they can come from watching something scary before bed or eating alot of weird food before bed, but typically this is not the case.

The main reason we experience nightmares is because our subconscience is trying to get us to deal with something we have been ignoring or that is important. To get the message across, your subconscious creates a vivd dream that will alarm you and catch your attention to try to get you to deal with the issue. We have recurring dreams for this similar reasons.

How do I stop having nightmares?

If you want to stop having nightmares, start thinking about them. Think about every detail of your nightmare and how it may relate to something in your life. Keep in mind that nightmares are not always an indication of something negative, just soemthing important.

Therefore, think about the nightmare and how it relates to your life. Once you deal with the issue at hand, the nightmares will cease.
